New Gods
The New Gods exist in the lower dimensions, very close to the Mortal Realm. They were created by the energy unleashed during the destruction of the First World. The New Gods were divided into good and evil factions and separated by space until such time they developed the technology needed to cross the darkness between worlds.
The New Gods are a highly evolved race that uses technology so advanced that it is often mistaken for magic. As occupants of a dimsnsion separated from the Mortal Realm, their bodies are conditioned to deal with the harsh conditions of their worlds, making them strong, faster and more resilliant when visiting a planet like Earth.
The New Gods are not without weaknesses. Like many gods of the lower dimensions they can be killed in the right circumstances. However as beings that are immortal, physical death does not mean the end.
